The Chicago Public Schools Design Competition, entitled "Big Shoulders, Small Schools," was a groundbreaking effort to add value to Chicago's aggressive school construction agenda and boost public awareness of the civic importance of innovative school architecture.
The thoroughly landscaped roof of our design acts as a gathering place for the school and the community, and could feature gardens or other related projects benefiting the school's curriculum.
